Last year we sold our car, so it was only fitting that we reclaim the little house that the car never had a chance to live in because we had too much stored stuff. Here is the second half of yesterday's misadventures, halfway toward replanting trees:
crash bang boom
ReplyDeleteright?! All in good fun ... now we have a bumblebee nest to deal with. Sad that we've disturbed the bumblebees. I love bumblebees.
DeletePoor bumblebees:( I can't wait to see what you do with the space.
ReplyDeleteMe too. I'm totally excited to be getting this far so fast. Our renos have seemed to take a lifetime. Oh ... wait ... we started before I had my first kid, some 10 years ago. That IS a lifetime!!! <3
DeleteBumblebees seem to be managing okay. I'll keep you up to date ...
That looks like hella fun. I love a good destruction.
ReplyDeleteOh ya. It is a completed destruction. Now. for the "rebuild" ... apple trees, green ground cover of some kind, deck chairs and a table ...
DeleteFun! When I bough the Ghetto Den with a friend of mine, I had so much fun kicking out walls in my unit that should never have been put up. Ditto ripping up crappy linoleum. How satisfying to create a clean canvas... What kind of trees will you plant? (fruit, fruit, fruit!)
ReplyDeleteFruit fruit fruit ... oh ya baby.
DeleteMethinks I want to put in a couple of dwarf apple trees, and I'm hoping that the raspberries survive the boys messiness ... at least half of them ... (weep).
